Nadja tracks down Eightball in the cargo hold where he has locked himself in a car to inject himself with Nadja's blood. ![]() The resulting chaos allows Nadja to escape as the terrorists lower the plane to stop everybody on board from suffocating. He threatens to shoot the terrorist and ends up shooting a window, depressurising the plane. After he stuns her, Eightball takes some of her blood, but before he can kill her, Elias saves her. While the other terrorists don't believe him, Eightball is sure Nadja is a vampire and he fights back with a UV light. Eightball discovers her plan though and forces her out of the cockpit by threatening to kill a child, which only succeeds in having Nadja fatally bite Berg and she kills him before he turns. She plans to let the terrorists jump and then have the plane turn back around to its original destination. They divert the plane and are about to jump out to an unspecified destination when Nadja returns, having killed a member of the group already. It's unclear quite what the terrorists are planning, although they are trying to make it look like the Muslim passengers on board, including Farid, took over the plane. This has allowed her to control the impulses over the years, meaning she hasn't drunk human blood – until now. He tried to kill Nadja, but she killed him instead and took all of his research. ![]() When she went back to the cabin, she met the vampire's father who was working on a cure, only to realise being a vampire can't be cured. Nikolai was killed by a vampire when he tried to get help in a nearby cabin and when Nadja investigated, she was bitten by the vampire who was then killed by the sun. In flashbacks during the movie, we learn that Nadja was on a trip with her partner Nikolai when their car died on the road. Nadja tries to protect Elias, but only ends up getting herself shot in the chest multiple times by Eightball, the unhinged one of the group. Shortly after take-off, the plane is taken over by terrorists, including Berg, Eightball (Alexander Scheer) and Bastian (Kai Ivo Baulitz). However, Nadja is infected with something that is far more deadly for those around her, rather than herself. We then cut back to Elias arriving at the airport and find out he's travelling to New York City with her mother Nadja so that she can get radiation therapy.Įlias gets talking to scientist Farid (Kais Setti) who is heading to New York for a convention, and it appears as though Nadja is living with leukaemia as she's treating herself with Cytarabine.
